The weekend of May 2nd and 3rd in Mansfield is not just about the "A Sustainable World" Expo.  Over the weekend there are other events planned that tie in with the theme of Sustainability such as a dinner with related speaker. Details will be available here as the events are confirmed.

Open House Tour - this tour will be held on Sunday 3rd May 2009 (TBC) - Always wanted to see "alternative" houses in action?  Like the idea of creating a "green house" but not sure how successful it is in real life?  This is your opportunity to see some real houses that people actually live in!  We have several homes that will be open to the public with a variety of building, heating and waste systems that you can view.  There are straw bale houses, solar electricity and worm septic systems to name a few.  The tour will be by bus and will include an afternoon break at a winery.  Please contact Allison at events@asustainableworld.com.au to register your interest.
