The weekend of May 1st and 2nd in Mansfield is not just about the "A Sustainable World" Expo.  Over the weekend there are other events planned that tie in with the theme of Sustainability such as a dinner with related speaker. Details will be available here as the events are confirmed.

Open House Tour - this tour will be held on Sunday 2nd May 2010. Always wanted to see "alternative" houses in action?  Like the idea of creating a "green house" but not sure how successful it is in real life?  This is your opportunity to see some real houses that people actually live in!  We have several homes that will be open to the public with a variety of building, heating and waste systems that you can view.  There are straw bale houses, solar electricity and worm septic systems to name a few.  The tour will be by bus.  See the "House tour" tab for more information and contact Allison at events@asustainableworld.com.au to register your interest.
