Need some help to get to the "A Sustainable World" Expo on Saturday 2nd May 2009? The Expo venue is now confirmed at the Mansfield Showgrounds.
Mansfield is located in the Victorian High Country in North Eastern Victoria. It is close to Mt Buller and Mt Stirling and is approximately 2 1/2 hours from Melbourne. A wonderful region with many and varied activities such as bushwalking, camping, horse riding, wine tasting, gourmet trails and of course skiing and snowboarding.
The Mansfield Show Grounds are located in Mt Battery Road in Mansfield. There is plenty of free parking available and it is only a short walk from the main street (approximately 1 km).
If arriving in town from Benalla or the Hume Highway then turn left at the round about and drive along the main street. At the end of High Street the road veers to the right to travel to Mt Buller or has a left turn across a bridge toward Tolmie and Whitfield. Take the turn to the left. Approximately 500 metres along on the right hand side is Mt Battery Road. Turn right here. The Mansfield Show Grounds are on the right hand side.
If coming from Melbourne, continue straight through the round about and follow the directions above along the main street.
There are several supermarkets in town and lots of places to grab a bite to eat and a coffee. Public toilets are located at the round about.
Why not make a weekend of it and explore some of the local wineries and attractions?
